My Bestie!

Not too many people can say they have been best friends with someone since they were 6 or 7 years old, and I am so happy to be able to say that I have. Despite big moves and long distances, the drama of highschool, time consuming college, and marriages, Kat and I have stayed best friends. I won't lie, there have been months at a time we didn't speak and years where we didn't see each other. But every time we meet back up, it's like we never missed a beat. While Chase and I were in Texas for the 'M' Family photo shoot, we also got to meet up with Kat at Crackel Barrell for breakfast.

MC and I got there early to play some Checkers. Notice I took a picture BEFORE we started playing so that you wouldn't see that he totally stomped my butt.

Meet Kathy. Kat for short. I just love this girl. And you would too. She's gotta heart of gold :)



Can't wait for the next visit!


Btw, the rocking chairs at CB are amazing!! They are beautiful! If only they had had one that said ARKANSAS lol

I adore this family! Mom and Dad are expecting their second child together, and you can feel the excitement between them. Chase and I really enjoyed this session and would be interested in more maternity shoots. Know anyone that's pregnant? :)

Just as MC and I reached the top of the lighthouse, the Blue Angels were taking off from the Naval Air Station!! Chase got this really cool pic :)

I just realized I haven't posted in over a month!! I have been so busy I guess time has gotten away with me. MC and I are back from Florida and had a great 3 year anniversary trip!! I wasn't going to post anything until tomorrow but I want to share a few of the fun pics we took with the tripod. It's so fun to set up the camera, set the timer, jump in front and pose, and see what turns out!

We purposefully stood off to the side! I just love the water :)

Slacker.

Ok, I hit a rut. A few times a year I turn into a major slacker and completely avoid the computer. Whatever. I am better now! I don't have too much to blog about now and I still have supper to make and things to do and MC is wanting the computer. But I do want to throw in some more Jessi and Caleb pictures :)

Hope everyone is enjoying their summer. I, quite honestly, am ready for FALL :)
