Aww one more.

In between.

Once when I was young and stupid, I found myself at a bar with friends dancing, let's say, rather expressively on the dance floor.. After waking up the next morning, recalling the night, and realizing that what I had imagined- the crowd making a circle around me to cheer "Go Ashley Go Ashley Go Ashley'and being envious of my super cool dance moves- was nothing close to reality..well, let's just say I haven't been back since. It's just not my scene.

But, sometimes, I wonder what it would have been like to be comfortable there. Comfortable slamming back Blueberry Tequila Limedrops, jamming to the band, taking a taxi home with friends because we drank WAY too much. I can imagine picking out sexy and chic Jimmy Choo platform sling-back heels; dainty purses just big enough to house iphone, credit card, and lip gloss; and showing off $300 True Religion jeans.

Instead, I find myself snuggled comfortably 'in between'. Floating in between being young&silly and babies&family. Neither one suits me but I dream about both, undecided on which person I would rather be.

But here is what I have come to understand. 'In between' isn't such a bad place to be. My conscience may not let me be silly enough to spend $300 on a pair of jeans, but it is young enough to let me go to Florida and live it up this fall:). I may not be ready for babies, but when I am I will be more than ready- I will be prepared. This is my time to grow and learn, and find out the kind of person I am and who I want to be. I just haven't figured it out yet.

I am sad to say that this is the last Anthony and Kaitlin post for now. I absolutly love them both and MC and I had the best time photographing this beautiful couple!

These two were so much fun! And the girls were so beautiful! Chase and I really enjoyed this shoot. There are so many we want to post but one can only post so many. And gotta save some for the clients only :) but I have a feeling there may be a 'part two'.

Sweet Spots

MC and I were looking for sites around Rogers to take some clients to later today. Found some great spots and took a few pictures. I can't wait for tonight!!

I have been playing around with older pictures, seeing what this new software can do.

(I was worried the crazy green chair the above girls are sitting in would take away from the pictures but I actually like it! Goes to show how the eccentric props can really make a pic.)







And I have some very cool news! Yesterday, I received a message from Jaren asking me if I wanted to be a 2nd shooter for her.. Eeeek! I am going along with her and Jamie to the next wedding to learn the ropes!! It is an awesome opportuniy to learn from some of the girls I have been following :)And I can't wait to share everything I learn!

If that wasn't enough to make my week, this is.

MC and I are taking a week off in September to go to Pensacola, FL for our 3 year anniversary! (Thank you Aunt Vickie for letting us stay at the condo!!!)

Florida just does something to me. You can't help but be happy there. The sun, the sand, the salt. Mmmm it touches a sweet spot. I can't WAIT!

Sneak Peek 2: Hambelton Wedding

This is probably the last Hambelton wedding post until I get the bride her pics. I am so happy I got to be at this wedding. These two are beautiful!
